That's not quite true, Black Closet was released with only one art set, the second one was commisioned but unfinished at the time. I seem to recall that Hanako said initial sales and reviews suffered a bit because people expected manga-style artwork. As usual, I was confused - I thought the original art style was fantastic.

On Steam, Black Closet was released with both art sets. I remember this because I beta tested it on Steam. Now on Hanako's site, it was initially released with only the one art set.

Ah yes, that is true.

I know that well because I was one of those telling her "redo the art!!". I wish someone told me the same before I released my game
