Haha OK so long story short: the previous voice actor who did Jariel combat lines can't work anymore. I am doing a trailer for the game in which Jariel is speaking. Since I have also to redo the previous lines, I thought to have some "vocal jingles" for each of Jariel songs (skills).
Currently I have:
Shieldwall Serenade - http://www.macgames.biz/shieldwallserenade.ogg
Ancient Warsong - http://www.macgames.biz/ancientwarsong.ogg
Static Lullaby - http://www.macgames.biz/lullaby.ogg
And I have left:
1) Rhythm of Speed -
2) Chant Of Resurrection -
3) Vigorous Sonata -
4) Rhythm of Restoration -
5) Chant of Nightmares -
6) Oceans' Requiem -
7) Dragon Dirge -
8) Song Of Purity -
if you want to suggest any short "lyrics" for the songs you're welcome. They are very short as you can see from the examples :)

Static Lullaby has to be the song of the year. Bring it to ESC.
Vigorous Sonata: "Please don't nerf me"
No but, you said these songs were ancient. Perhaps older than current language? A melody would sound better than lyrics to my ears.

If at first try it doesn't explode, it ain't Jack who wrote the code.

But is hard to do just a melody I think ? I mean with lyrics I can tell him what to do, with a melody is much harder...I should do it myself first, etc a bit of a mess

Okay, but could they be louder then? No matter what they are, just louder. I can't really imagine these reaching out to the party over the din of battle.
Jariel: doo dee doo-
Krimm: STOP WHISPERING AND FIGHT MORON
Jariel: *scared until end of battle*

Yes I'll adjust the volume when I put them in the game and test, of course!

A short pice out of a Gregorian chant would be compatible with the background setting, best not for all songs (too boring) but one or two?

Feel free to use/edit/trash these:
Dragon Dirge: And the mighty dragons shall trample you in their fiery wake...
Chant of Nightmares: Fear lies forever wide awake...
EDIT: @Below, probably for the best
