Net Neutrality: Important Issue for us All

Post by BobTheMob »

I imagine most have probably heard about this by now, but in case ya haven't, we're facing a big-time threat here.
I'm not gonna give you guys a big thing that'll become tl;dr, so the basic gist is this:

Internet service providers are trying to make it so that everyone has to pay extra for just about everything in that websites will be in bundles much like w/ TV service--YouTube, for instance, would be in an entertainment "package" and to be able to access our favorite vids we'd have to shell out extra.

WE NEED TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING and these petitions are our tools to do so:

For Americans:
https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petiti ... neutrality

For other Countries:

SPREAD THE WORD!

Thank god we got you and your games, Jack. Seeing as we only need the internet to download them, then they can be played offline. So so important if this somehow goes through. Luckily my ISP is to small to really take advantage of this and if they try we have an independent ISP here locally.

Yes small indies making single player games like mine are probably going to be the less affected by this, but still...!
