Question about adult content/ratings

So in SOME (not all) of my future games I'm thinking to allow optional adult content for the romance CGs. I was talking with Forsaken, about what level of nudity/explicit content have.
I was thinking to go up to Loren's level, so frontal nudity. But we were discussing about male bodies: I thought that the "key" thing was not showing genitals: so for females is not a problem since you basically see only the pubic hair. For males instead...

What do you think? I wouldn't show an erection of course! (I don't make hentai games). But maybe I could go with full frontal nudity even for males ?

I think it's fine as long it's tasteful and artistic. So, not nudity just for the sake of nudity. And, to give warning first .

Yes of course would be tasteful, like Loren. And I think will allow the nudity to work only with the uncensor patch like Steam. This way will be IMPOSSIBLE to "accidentally see it" (with a simple menu option is easier to see it).

What I was asking though is if you thought I could include male genitals exposed or not
(not in erection!)
Trying to understand if it's the same as seeing a female frontal nudity or something different - I always thought that for ratings and such, showing genitals was a "step above" artistic nudity but maybe I was wrong!

I don't have any issues with nudity of any level, for any gender. I'd much rather see a naked body than someone with their head blown off. Most of the time anyway.

Haha same here. But for people in Europe nudity is more normal / less taboo than blood or violence

I second Zeta's notion about a warning: such imagery would probably (at best) unnerve some.

Yes but you haven't read what I wrote. It would be IMPOSSIBLE to see them, unless you modified the files in the game directory. Something you don't do accidentally
And like always on mobile you could never see them (since I cannot have such content on mobile anyway).

Equal opportunity Jack (and you know only thing I like is yuri so XD), if done right it can add to the sexiness of the CG upping the eroticism, but if it is there to just to show dangly bits, I would have to pass. I have no issues with any nudity, and if you do as you say with an uncensored patch it is a nice by-pass to Steam censorship. Though they seemed to jump aboard the nudity is okay train. I have a steam version of a game that is pretty damn spicy, it just falls short of penetration (yuri game) but I had a wow moment put it like that.

GTA IV: The Load and the Damned has an infamous scene with a naked Senator wandering around with his privates on show and you can get that on Steam. Still, up to jack about what he feels comfortable with putting on Steam. For one thing, Steam is infamously inconsistent with its rulings on what is and is not allowed on their store front. Of late though, I get the impression you'd probably get away with it.

Yes will think about it. Personally I have zero issues even with pornography, though of course I won't put it in my games!
And a lot depends how it's done - in many cases a woman dressed with sexy lingerie and stuff is much more sexy than a completely naked one. So, we'll see, depends on the story/situation mainly
