However I'm really curious to know from the writer with the scene at the cafeteria with Darren and Kurt when she says 'D'aww, bro-tee-pee" what on earth is Nicole saying and what does that mean
I'm extremely intrigued.

I know you said you wanted to hear from the writer, but she was making a play on words.
"OTP" = One True Pairing
She just replaced "O" with "Bro", like in "Bromance".
