My feedback about WinterWolves games

Well, I have to think a lot about what to write (more) exactly, but I'll write now what I am 100% certain now.

So, I see progress over past years. Especially in music - more proffesional work - a lot. Heileen 3, Nicole - clearly someone decent is hired.

I personally think that Your games lack of more... intense romances. Don't get me wrong, I mean not something like in Wolfore forum ;) Still not explict material, but more hidden behind the words and scenes. Something to work in players imagination. Now romances are quite "sterile" IMO ;) I suugest something more mature/adult, but not porn game - still romances, but more "grown-up".

I miss Vera Blanc - I mean pro/normal versions, not Wolfore ones ;) Good main theme BTW, "charging". I red that you abandoned this series - too bad :/

Too much quasi-rpg-stat-building - most of your games are like this (Nicole, Heileen 3, Spirited Heart). A lot of important stats is ok, but these games are FOCUSED on these stats...

There were some experiments like Heileen 2, which I don't like, but I lilke that you search for something else than mainstream.

Cinders is very good (Poland FTW!), good multiple andings. Nice graphics.

I understand what you mean, the "problem" is that most of those games are directed towards a younger audience so I can't really put too many sexual references in them.
But did you try Loren for example? that one has definitely more sexy dialogues in the romances

I'd also add that the reason some series are abandoned and certain gameplay isn't continued to be used is that those styles don't sell as well. It's a small operation here, so they need to make games for those who buy them.

I also would recommend Loren if you haven't played it. If you don't like RPG's, the newest version has a "story mode" that allows you to skip fighting and focus on story decisions and world building.

I think I know how I could make a new Vera game that sells, but it should be either in full 3d realtime, or have lots more images (and of good quality). With more "puzzles" and "escape the room" situations, fully voiced, and less texts (the real problem, adventure gamers don't like to read like VN players).
And as Entertainer13 said, no way to do such a thing on budget lower than 10-15k without losing money

Well, just my personal thoughts but I'm getting used to the stat-raising in WW games (it'd feel REALLY weird and ...empty if it's just the story for me now  )
It's wayyyy easy to play with the easy mode, so I don't mind  (The only thing that's hard now is how to get all the scenes... I asked you about Nicole when I was nearly at the end of the game so I lost count of the events and now dunno what to do  )

@Jack, You know I would buy a Vera game like that. :) BTW, thanks again for giving me permission to make the fan-made Vera Blanc games.

@CobraPL, Thanks for mentioning the visual novels at Wolflore. Unlike Jack, who can afford to hire professional artists, writers, and voice actors, I make those VNs myself (although I have a few folks who are a big help with proofreading and beta testing). I think I've gotten better over the years; but I know my work is not professional level (and certainly can not measure up to anything made by Winterwolves Games).

very respectfully,
