How did Saren or Loren ended up a monk or a nun??

Post by Harbinger1949 »

After completed the game, we realised that the one who was telling the story is actually Saren or Loren depend on who survived the fight against Frost.
But how?? Loren was the queen, and Saren was her husband, that would make him a prince if not a king. How did they end up in a monastery??
Dear author, please share some untold story with us :)

Warning: trying to explain with my limited English
Remember that monk/nun is not the same thing as here in real world.
Monk could be someone who decided to join an order and it's currently not engaged. So the story he/she tells could be because he/she remained alone after the death of the beloved one.
However I won't say more since could be spoilers for Loren sequels. Or simply we haven't decided yet

loren ending was just weird because the lover always dies before the MC, even for saren who can end up with people who should live longer than him...so something happen but what?

Haha remember that sometimes (well quite often) the story is written not knowing if there will ever be sequels etc. If things change, at least changing the first game will just be a matter of tweaking some texts. Elenor is an elf, Saren not. However there are methods to extend life through magic or with potions (Amber's Elixir Of Life comes to mind!).
