"Vera Blanc and the Columbia River Mystery" is my latest Visual Novel (VN). This is a fan made visual novel. The characters Vera Blanc and Brandon Mackey are the property of Winterwolves games, and have been used with permission.
Join intrepid paranormal detectives (and lovers) Vera Blanc and Brandon Mackey, as they journey to the Pacific Northwest of the USA, to investigate thefts from a casino, only to become involved in a murder, assisting the local Native American police force.
Player choices determine the eventual outcome (and a lot of other, "side-adventures," besides ...)
New mini-games! [And yeah, the good old ones have also been retained].

If you have played any of my previous VNs, you won't be disappointed with this one.
If you are new to them, then this one is a good "starter" VN for you, since it's pretty easy game-wise, and the "guilty perp" is fairly easy to identify early on [lots of clues, y'know? And, like in Ian Fleming's novels, the villains never seem to get over their own egos ...].

This visual novel requires Windows XP or a newer version to run. If you encounter difficulties refer to the readme file.

Hello! Thanks for asking. Columbia River Mystery has had over 27000 downloads.
I have an idea for my next Vera Blanc fan made game. I'm working on another game now, which I hope to finish and upload by September (The dialog is just about 50% complete; I haven't completed any artwork.
When I finish my current project I will contact Jack with the premise for the new Vera Blanc fan-made visual novel, and request his permission to use the characters.

Very respectfully,
fleetp

Today Jack gave me approval to work on a new one. I hope to finish by spring of 2016.

UPDATE (16 FEB 2016): My fan made visual novel "Vera Blanc and the Cursed Mummy" is being beta tested.

The adult version (see second post of this thread for the link) has been converted to cross-platform using techniques described by kexter. The cross platform version is playable on Windows, MAC, and Linux systems using any web browser that supports HTML 5.
