Adore this game!~

I'm really addicted to this game! XD I posted on your blog about it but I thought I would make a topic about it to! It reminds me a lot of Princess Maker but I had some ideas as well if your (hopefully) make a sequel. Maybe add an Angelic race or even Fairy race. I was also thinking that little additions like adventure mode in Princess Maker 2 would be fun. 90% of the time my daughter turned into a fighter and married the dragon prince guy, oh! that's another idea for a race! Dragons! I loved the adventure mode and it was tons of fun, I even fought the god of war and saw my goddess. XD

After playing this game I got to thinking about another old game I played a long time ago, Graduation for the PC. That was a highly enjoyable game with a lot of replayability as well. I highly reccommend you trying to find that, you can find it pretty cheap I'm sure and the little animations were adorable! http://www.gamershell.com/pc/graduation ... shots.html The endings depended on how close you were with the girls and how much you taught them and many other factors!

Another game I liked a lot and sorta reminds me of it is Thousand Arms for the Playstation. It was a dating sim like and rpg in one. The closer you were with the girl the better you could forge weapons and get special abilities with it.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this game to say the least. I really hope for a sequel with more of a PM2 type of a feel since a lot of ppl like rpg's (myself included if you couldn't tell XD )

Yes a sequel is already planned. I got almost all the art for it. I even posted some WIP screens on my blog some time ago. I'll start working on it next year. I have yet to decide if will be a normal downloadable or a webgame, but in any case I want to put more community aspect over it, like trading with other players and so on :)

Ahh, I see! I have to go run over to the blog now, hehe. Will there be special items say for each specific person? Hmm, you know I just thought of another type of raising game, Monster Rancher. Those are wonderful games! Hmm, it would be fun if the girl had a pet like that as well (or possibly an idea for another game?) . I always had fantasies about my Zan (http://monsterrancher.wikia.com/wiki/File:Zan_zan.jpg) falling in love with me. I found them so very sleek and just handsome looking. I always wished for a game like that where your monster/pet could actually fall in love with you. X3 (Secretly hoping that also in Mass Effect 3, Legion will be a Love Interest. Ya I know, HUGE long shot but a girl can dream!)

There are pets in SH2 but just normal cat, dog, pig and a parrot :) But the idea is interesting, I'll note it down!

I'm really glad you like that idea and would be honored if you actually used it!

I have just been reading some blog entries and very happy to read about The Flower Shop sequel and a girl MC (Main Character) taboot! It's just to bad that it wouldn't be out for christmas seeing as it will be a wintery setting. I also read that for Planet Stronghold you had a new artist which I must admit myself I really like the artwork myself and am glad you had to find that new person.

I also read you were reading about social type of games which sorta makes me cringe. I'm sorta the lurker type to be honest and enjoy my offline games a lot or usually play alone in mmorpgs or with my brother if he plays it. I usually can't find people to play with or socialize or they already have their 'cliques' together if you know what I mean.

Ahh, I finally found your post on the sequel and I am highly anticipating it! The 'DLC' sounds like a very cool thing to do as well but what worries me is that a couple things. One, I play on my mom's computer (which I'm using now) and my own (which is upstairs) and would like to download them on both, will that be okay to do? Also will that cause problems with DLC. Another thing is sometimes my dad likes to ghost my computer and it basically goes back to when I first got it and I have to install all my games and such again, that will be okay as well?

It reminds me a lot of Mass Effect/Dragon Age with the addition of Kasumi and Shale and such and the romance DLC everyone wanted but we didn't get. XD

Well isn't sure yet - it might make in time, but considering is already september and some art has still to be done (and testing) I really am not sure :) Will try to make in time though, because of winter setting. And yes, new Planet Stronghold artists is awesome 8)

Don't worry, even if I make a social/online/multiplayer game it will be different from the others. You'll be able to play entirely on your own. The multiplayer features will be there if you want to use them, otherwise you'll be able to enjoy the game as it was a normal offline singleplayer game :)

Yes, if I use that system (not sure yet) all you'll need to do is remember your user/password and then you'll be able to redownload/reinstall the game on a unlimited number of system (PC, Mac, Linux). So no worries :)

As you stated in your one blog as well: a MMO based on missions, each mission with a story, still playable as single player, maybe with some limited player to player interactions (but not real-time) – I like this idea, like a collection of stories, each story representing a mission (like in a fantasy or sci-fi RPG) that the player must complete, playing as single player game that would be the most ideal one! It reminds me of how Star Wars The Old Republic might be as well (which I spoke of before). I can it mostly as a single but like a town where you can put things up for auction or maybe a board where people post and item(s) they want and such.

That is SUCH a relief on the user/password thing, whew! I was really worried about that and future games as well!

I was thinking more on Spirited Heart (which I'm purchasing the full version today on my birthday, yay!) and as for new races/idea I thought of maybe a mermaid! or even a merman LI (love interest/romance). On my walk yesterday I was even thinking about it. XD But I was thinking more along the lines of the pet/monster LI thing and I thought how cool it would be if maybe your character was a fighter and exploring and she found a weapon and it turned out to be a sentient weapon! I love the idea(s) about sentient weapons/items and it be like 'Your the only one in the world that could awaken me Mistress.' or it even be able to take on human form and be like 'Anything you desire my Mistress' and such. SQUEE! Hehehe XD Sorry fangirl moment there. (Or maybe you could use that idea in a future game?)

Another thought would be for races is maybe animal races? Like a bunny girl or a sheep girl and maybe a LI of a wolf guy. Oooh, sheep and wolf a forbidden love, fufufufu. X3

Lol so many ideas
First of all happy birthday then! And about the races in the sequel there are the 3 main ones (human, elf, demoness). I could add other pets and even talking weapons. As for adding a whole new race while is possible, it's a lot of work since each one has custom stuff: custom dialogues, statistics, needs art for all the various jobs, and so on.
So adding a new race isn't realy a trivial thing to do and I must think about it carefully. While adding more pets/monsters or magic/special items, that is surely much easier to do 8)

I can understand that with the new race and such but well I'm just throwing out ideas as well if you wish to use them in any other future game as well. ^^

I just remember fondly going out on adventures on Princess Maker 2 (I adored the 2D art there, it was soooooo cute!!) and remember how much I would enjoy some company on those outings. Which also got me thinking! about if you did have company how cool would it be if that person actually talked and wasn't a mindless thing there. Like for instance, in a game called Star Ocean 2 for the Playstation and now PSP you could have relationships with your group and when you got closer to one in battle if you got hurt the guy/girl would actually go like 'Oh no! Rena! Hold on!' or 'Don't worry! I'll protect you!' and it made you feel more closer to the game. I have never ONCE found another game like that and it's a pitty. I think it would be nice if your Love Interest actually shows jealously/protectiveness once in awhile as well! I mean what kind of guy/girl if they were in your party would actually just stand there while another person was hitting on the person they loved. I never understood that cause I always take my LI and if a guy like hit on me they would have no reaction and just do the mindless look around the room thing.

Thank you very much on wishing me a happy birthday!

Ah yes I understand. Having NPC interacting with you that way during world exploration/combat is definitely a nice thing. Interesting, this one should be easy to implement in the game so I'll write it down :)
