I've never played as not telling the other about the wolf cub, but I've heard through the grapevine that there's a scene where Morran eventually becomes angry and the PC runs to Vaelis' house to take cover.

Your choice will give you different dialogue near the end of chapter 1, but that's it as far as I remember.

The dev answered me at steam so for Nutty Nut's treasure, if you choose a wrong direction at first you'll be on a forest and always get to a dwarven outpost. If you wish to succeed the quest
