I guess it's because of the artist changes that there isn't a romance chart with the characters' images available on this game. So, I'm posting this thread just to make the info I pulled from Fen's thread more easily accessible -- I hope the info below is still current?

Very simple romance chart for those who requested one:

Ann x Christine | Lesbian

Ann x Neville | Hetero.

Ann x Roger |Bi.

Ann x Svetlana | Bi

Ann x Hamilton | Hetero.

Ann x Anja | Lesbian

Arthur x Christine | Hetero.

Arthur x Neville | Gay

Arthur x Roger | Bi.

Arthur x Svetlana | Bi.

Arthur x Mei Ling | Hetero.

Arthur x Abhay | Gay

Platonic (best friend) relationships are available for all characters. There is no penalty for not wanting to pursue a romantic relationship, only for being an ass. And even there, some characters are more tolerant than others.

Also, since this little tidbit was hidden in the Undead Lily -forum:

The writer (Fen) is quite good at such things I know he wants to put the dominant/submissive (alongside other things) also in Roger Steel, so might be another game to keep an eye on (though will come out after UL for sure).

... I'm posting it here in hopes of maybe Jack or Fen swooping in and revealing us how such dom/sub/switch-relationships will be allocated among these characters... :mrgreen:

Haha to be honest I don't remember myself :lol:

I'm doing so many games that I forget what we decided until I see the CG. At that point OK, I see what happens!

Fen is super busy writing stuff so don't think will have time right now, but later (maybe this Summer) I wanted to resume doing the characters intro and in general talk about RS more

When you can romance Christine and Neville with both, Ann and Arthur, doesnÄt it make them Bi as well? They are marked as Lesbian/Hetero or Gay/Hetero in the chart ^.^

Yes, I think probably the texts Fen posted was from the original storyboard, so it was referring to the romance TYPE. So Ann x Christine was Lesbian romance, while Arthur x Christine was Hetero.

But in practice they're bisexuals

Unless (I don't remember now) you can romance both, but in each playthrough they act as hetero/lesbian. Which mean that in that particular version/path of the game world they're that orientation (the usual mess with multiple choice/branching stories! haha).

Hmmm, with that said this will be the longest (well word count) game ever if I do recall.

It make it interesting that some of the NPCs are player sexual (nothing bad about that if done right) and seeing that some romances are predefined means better character development since they are the way they are.

This brings up a question will there be romance conflicts? Heh like trying to romance more than one person and go for that fabled harem ending?

Yes plenty of conflicts. What I like mostly of this game is the characters and their various relationships, and the MANY choices you have. It's not written in Ren'Py format so it's hard for me to remember or read it (it uses a sort of screenplay format and you can imagine with many branching it becomes hard to follow!).
