I like the current logo made by a friend of a friend (for free) but I was thinking that maybe it wasn't very easy to remember. Hard to explain, but I don't think people clearly associate my company/brand with the logo. So I asked Loren artist to come up with some sketches ideas:

I feel that I need to explain. I live at 52 degrees north in Canada which is just south of the Boreal Forest. I know winter, the coldest temperature I've been in is minus 47 degrees C, without the wind chill. The Canadian Boreal Forest, from Wikipedia, has 4.4 Billion Square Km still undisturbed by roads, cities and industrial development. There are also thousands and thousands of lakes. ( and still more thousands and thousands of lakes )



Your original logo catches the feel of the forest by a lake at night in the winter and just has the right feel to it. It's hard to explain but the person who did your logo just hit on the right balance. Your proposed logo has more of a focus just on the Wolf and doesn't have the same feel.

Ah I see, I didn't think of it in that way, interesting. Well, the artist is going to make yet another one with two wolves nearby flirting (not sure the right English word!) which I think would fit my game theme (since there's romance in all my games).

I prefer the second one, but hey, that's just my opinion.

Asked around on twitter and almost everyone prefers the 2nd. The 1st is nice, but indeed might be even too much "romantic", even if the background is nicer I think

Personally I prefer the first one.
