I just read in your blog that you're thinking of making the third Vera Blanc game an adventure instead of a visual novel. Great! I like adventure games.

Yes, a first person adventure could work, would be probably shorter than the VN but could appeal a wider audience. Will post more news in my blog whenever I decide to go forward with that route

With a beautiful lead character like Vera, I'd suggest a third person view, unless you're viewing the game through Brandon's eyes

Sounds like a winner. I do find it odd that you'd make an adventure game that is shorter than the visual novels....

Because VNs are a super small niche, and if they have non-manga art basically nobody plays them :D that was my experience with VB. I need to find a way to make the game appeal a bigger public non-VN, otherwise I can't produce more of them, so I thought about an adventure... If was for me I would continue doing stories purely comic based and have even more sexy stuff in it, but sadly males don't buy much those kind of games (you're an exception).
Anyway, will see, maybe I'll have two versions, a standard-casual-family friendly one, and a more sexy one that you can buy only on my site

I guess I'll make a fan made Vera game while waiting.
Here's Vera (I made this using Daz software)

Looks nice! I have Daz too and thought about using it to make a game, but I am not sure about 3d look. I prefer 2d hand-drawn images, even if with 3d you can have animations...

Here's a screen shot from a game I wrote in September, using the DAZ characters

Yes works now. Don't worry is not too sexy :D
The problem I see with that kind of art is that the look is too much "plastic" (not your fault, all poser/daz images looks the same).

I can understand your viewpoint. Since I can't draw worth a hoot, Daz is a viable solution for me to create characters.
EDIT: Here's Brandon.
