Thanks for the feedback, about your issues:

1) the status thing is indeed something I didn't test (I never played VN Mode for long) but I'll fix it on next update

2) your other issues are due to old saves as you correctly said. As for the ending you played the version where Lynn's ending was "fixed" already (by removing the need to pick specific choices), that's why you had no problems :)

3) to delete the saves you can use the "delete save" button in the load/save screen, otherwise you should delete both in the saves folder and in the hidden save folder (see here: http://www.winterwolves.net/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2971). Sorry but that's how Ren'Py works :mrgreen:

I just noticed that...


...in the scene where Amber and Cosa are out in the woods and fighting against the wolf... Cosa is more than just one time referred to as Cosmina. Although she just told us we should call her Cosa for now. It seems a bit weird.

Also... in the beginning of the same scene there could be heard the sounds of the wood as well as the sounds of the marketplace. Don't know if I just got that on accident, if it is supposed to be like that or if it's an error in the script indeed.

During the wind festival... you meet Lair and tell him, he can visit you at Haros' shop if he wants to. When he actually does so in the next scene... Amber is all puzzled as to how he knew she worked there. Although she right away told him. xD

Anyway... the next thing is something that only feels slightly off, but...


In the evening of the wind festival... Lynn and Amber are meeting at the Barking Duck. Lynn then states she only goes there when her usual place is too crowded. Later in the scene where Amber finds out about Lynn dancing at the Green Tree, Lynn says she prefers the Barking Duck. Which one now does she like better? :,D

...during the scene where Amber is brewing the fire salve for Cosa... Anders is referred to as Reed. I think at that point it shouldn't be there yet.

That's an useful skill to have :) Anders/Reed thing is wrong, you're right.

Regardin Lynn though I think it's fine: she doesn't want to reveal that she dances so might have slightly lied to Amber the first time about the Barking Duck :)

One more thing though:


When with Lair in the carriage heading for the ball... is Amber supposed to say that there is nothing special about her gloves? Only some scenes ago with Ruby in the woods we learn that it has partly become a habit for her to wear gloves because of her practising alchemy.

Yes that's correct. I mean, both things can be true at same time. It's just a habit :)

Made an update fixing the various bugs reported recently, including the shop builder issue raised by Madance. If you weren't careful you could end up not being able to build a room, but that was bad design choice on my part. Now I restrict the type of rooms you can build in the base/ground and upper floor but at least such situations shouldn't happen again :)

While I was poking through the Cosmina dialogues I discovered a bug. When using the fire potions on the treant, a pair of results are switched. If Amber uses extra rare ingredients to give the potions extra potency ($flameSalve = 0), then you get the "I'm glad I swapped Haros' salve" ($flameSalve = 3) result, and vice versa.

Wow thanks, very good catch, I todally missed it :) It only affects texts but it's still a bug :)
About when will this be fully ready?

If you play it in VN Mode I think you could consider it "ready" already. There might be still some minor bugs very hard to spot like the one above but it's not like are game-breaking bugs. For the crafting sim, I would probably wait towards end of month :mrgreen:

After finishing the game once (somehow ended up with Lair light+ and felt so bad for breaking up with both Bernard and Daniel at the same time x,D) I have to say that I really, really like it. The crafting part can be a bit tiring... especially when the story draws to an end, but overall I love it. (I'm a fan of crafting games, so... maybe that's why. ^^) To slowly narrow down the romance paths I found to be a clever way to decide with whom Amber will end up. I would wish to see this mechanic again sometime. ^^ Also... the shop builder is so... CUTE! x3

Will go through the game some more times. I'm very curious about the poly romance routes, especially the one with Lair and Lynn, and so far I think they are nicely done. ^^ (Now all there is still missing is a yaoi poly romance... ahem. xD)



One thing though wasn't quite to my liking. And that sadly has to be the writing. It fulfilled its purpose but nothing more. At times sentences seemed not to fit the situations or weren't linked too neatly, thus disturbing the flow of the text. It simply lacked a special spark. Also I found masses of typos and grammar mistakes. Regarding those I'd like to know if someone already is doing the proofreading. If not then I'd be glad to volunteer. ^^

The Ruby/Cosmina/Lynn paths were supposedly already proofread, but if you find anything, feel free to post. Maybe if you want start another thread so I keep this one only for the coding bugs? :) thanks

I found indeed one thing more.

When at the start of adult age you can choose to disable whichever romance type you want... later on there is this screen where you need to pick who'll you stop romancing. With disabled romances you still have to make your pick between the remaining ones. For example if otome and poly are disabled, there's only Ruby left. But you have to pick her as option to end the romance. So it has happened to me that I either am forced to romance no one or remain stuck. :,D Ah, I don't know if I explained that right.

This has happened to me in Visual Novel mode. Don't know for the others.

Ah no you're right haha. I didn't think that with the changes I did because of the yuri/poly thing I messed up everything. SIGH... more stuff to check :cry: :cry:



edit: actually I think I have fixed it already, was easier than I thought :)

Anyway... could it be that Daniel has one scene less than the other characters? Every time when there are only two characters left... I only get to see the scene of the other character... then the stop romancing screen shows up again. Was this done on purpose?
