I realise something, now that loren 2 characters are divided in 2 group. Reign of war may be the 1st classic WRPG where a straight male PC can't romance a female human :o ,It's like a revolution :lol:

Sweet :) .

I feel like if you go with the new group you're going to annoy at least one of your old partners (even if you didn't romance anyone) because you didn't choose to hang with them again :lol: .

The 'alignment' column seems like an odd way to phrase it to me (I would think of 'alignment' as more of D&D-style Lawful/Chaotic and Good/Evil, whereas this might be gender and sexual orientation). I would also lean toward writing 'straight' rather than leaving it out as a 'default' (both for reasons of normativity and to account for any non-romanceable characters you may decide to have, as unpopular as the latter decision might be around here).

I agree but I think at first that doc wasn't made for us to see and was just for Jack so I guess it's kind of OK :|



and I want to ask about class and spec, what type of system are we going to have



something like

Loren : every characteirs from a same class have a commons skills and uniques skills from the spec + several levels for each skills,



like

SOTW: everyone has have uniques skill and class is only for equipement, battle rules and usables objects + each skill has only one level,



a mix of the two or something new???

Yes that doc was just for private/internal use, I posted it to explain better in forums but that's all :mrgreen:

Is too early to talk about the RPG system, though Anima started a discussion about the rules somewhere in the forums :)

More or less something completely new but closer to Loren then to SotW. Actually Jack wanted to do skill levels in SotW as well, but the framework proved frustratingly uncooperative.

All future RPG games will be much more similar to Loren than SOTW. Even Roger Steel has a lot of character interaction, skills build up with choices, and fewer battles but sort of "puzzle-based". I think is the right approach, more story + shorter battles + fewer required battles = good stuff (at least I hope!)

Ok, I have to admit I'm a little thrown for a loop here, but I can definately see where you're coming from. I guess my only concerns are:

1: will Draco still be in the game and

2: will I still get to pick up where I left off with him romance wise?

Because truthfully, one of the things about this game that really REALLY got me excited was the knowledge that I would get to see how their relationship progressed after the end of the first game. So I'm really hoping that you'll keep that option

Any romanceable characters in the first game will be in this one. Just they will participate in the mission in ONE PART of the game (otherwise what, you romance same characters three times?? already 2 times was a big mistake to do).

At beginning of the game you'll have a menu from which you can choose the starting conditions.

Hopefully the amazon prince will appear if Saren romanced Loren.

Well a bit of everything, how he wrote some characters (I like in particular the dualism between Selith and Breza) and Jul's interrogation scene was handled very well too. Plus he added a ratmen character with a beard! :mrgreen: The story is still just like 5% finished but can't complain about the quality at all :)

My most waited games are the ones that will need more time to launch, maybe in 2020 I will have already played Roger Steel, PS2 and Loren 2 :cry:
