I just remembered that I also need to code some other sidequests, one in particular is VERY IMPORTANT for
the Chalassa/Althea happy ending!
So I think at this point will just wait a bit to see if tiles are ready, so you'll be able to play the game up to the end of ACT3 with the (hopefully) stable and faster Ren'Py version too (I still think there are some minor bugs, looking at the devs log).

Finished coding the spoilerish sidequest, with the two toughest boss fights of the whole game (probably). I had hard time to beat them in Nightmare mode even with the cheat
Now while I wait the tileset will keep going with ACT4 hopefully the tileset will be ready in 1-2 weeks!

I've made an update, still using the "old renpy". But the "type" keyword is fixed, so hopefully when the new version of Ren'Py is released it should work fine (I can load the saves on the new version right now). I didn't wait and use the new one simply because there are still several issues opened with it, like some bugs in Drag&Drop and so on, and since to implement the tilemap I need a save at end of act2 anyway, I thought to do the update while I wait thanks to everyone who will play it again until end of act2
p.s. the best is to send me a zip with saves in several "key point" of the game, just in case I need to go back and fix some issues. Thanks!

OK errata corrige, "SOME" saves works, I am not sure exactly why, but was able to load several from yayswords, so you can try, maybe you are lucky

Ha! I shall start from scratch, my last party had no Hunter, anyway..... This will distract me (for a while) from hacking that .ods-file further, though...maybe that's for the best...

Haha I discovered the problem!!!!
Ren'Py has an auto-updater. So when I was looking to try the new version, by mistake I started the update on my current version, I canceled but it had already updated SOME files (I thought that by canceling, I hadn't changed anything!). The result is that I had a mixed version of Ren'Py that I used to build this version
Anyway I tried with the new Ren'Py version and I seem to be able to load the saves that work in current one. Maybe before replaying it until the end of act2 send me some saves so I make sure they work ...

Okay just to be clear I have a working save at beginning of act3, so I can use that when I get the tileset. Considering the mess I made, I probably would advise to not play this version and just wait for the "final" act3 one which will surely use the new Ren'Py (I think the tileset won't be ready before mid-September).
Anyway, since I don't need new tilesets (I don't want to be more specific because... spoilers!), I'm doing ACT4 now, so I'm not wasting any minute Ironically, the full act4 might be finished BEFORE act3!
(this doesn't include some difficulty tweaks that probably I'll need to make later).

Yea, I noticed that the Skip-text options got warped for me again in the newest version. Otherwise it's been working fine in Act 1... but it the saves are likely to be borked once act 3 comes out...hmm .I might have to do another doodle.

this time one without pants?

Yes, they *might work*, but I am not sure. And anyway I'd rather if you replayed from beginning when I do the build with the new Ren'Py to spot any potential problems
p.s. Morran's pants are the source of ultimate power of the whole Aravorn!

Oh, I was uploading the doodle and then mysteriously those pants flew on it. I've always suspected Morran to have some weird powers...
p.s. Morran's pants are the source of ultimate power of the whole Aravorn!
Oh, and there's the explanation!

The tileset is ALMOST here! I got a preview, and I thought I had to make a stupid joke of it:
