was your fix for the "PC missing" a generic one? it happened again with Vaeril's quest (collecting healing stuff in the woods): as the PC was not part of the active team before beginning the mission only Vaeril was available.
jack1974Mar 03, 2018
I added it to Larik and the Vaeril/Kusho blighted wood, but probably forgot there. I think is better if I do a generic/global one though
I think it's related to the fact that you always see the PC outside the start formation, since before I wasn't having those issues. Maybe if I fix that bug also this other will be fine... if you have a save before this one that you can send feel free too (so I can test multiple cases). Thanks

I sent you a save game (not Vaeril but Logan, though the same issue).
And Logan's pepperbox quest is buggy, imho.
Steal the key (successful) -> "I have the key in my possession. I grab the chest and take it outside." -> next screen "I'm really sorry. I know you really wanted the gun."
wtf?
myoksyMar 03, 2018
ah wait, I missed 0.9.4 with the fix for Logan's quests

No One Left Behind is b0rken - I collected all chars and the scene with Karen was played but no achievement granted

I'm kind of interested to know how the game decides what romance path you're in. I did the romance scene with Sylrissa, then did the one with Nuala, but didn't actually want the Nuala relationship (or any broken hearts later) so I went back to a save and skipped the romance scene with Nuala. But I never got any further with Sylrissa, and
Nuala appeared in my dream on day 88.
But without knowing what's "under the hood" so to speak, I don't know if the game assigned me to the Nuala track based on earlier interactions and
the bread scene in Grimoire didn't matter one way or the other
or if romancing Nuala once somehow created a weird persistent state bug and I will now always and forever be in love with Nuala.

Clement Assassin achievement didn't trigger for me etiher.

Will check the bugs, regarding the romances it works like this:
1) you romance a character by reaching 100 relationship. After that, you'll see the romance CG (in some cases like Nuala you can actually REJECT her if you pick the choice "Let's do something else" in the bread scene.
2) if you romance a character, two things can happen: you are faithful and don't unlock other romance CG until day 70, and by then it will "lock" your romance with the character you have seen the only romance CG (in this case Nuala). If you unlocked another character romance CG, a jealousy scene will trigger forcing you a choice. That choice will become the "chosen romance".
So it's possible that if you reloaded a save that was already after day 70 and you've seen Nuala romance CG, the romance was already "set".
I haven't tested all the possible combos though, and I'm not sure if day 70 is a good point (but considering there are also two more bonus scenes to play I wanted to make sure the player had time to see them before the end of game.
FrankaMar 04, 2018
So, my tactic of waiting until day 80 something so I could unlock all romances on the same save was a backfire. Gotcha. That does give fairly little time to lock the romance, only 9-10 days of the 3rd full moon. With some characters needing several events, and some events costing you a day, you probably need to have decided who to go for if you aren't very strict with clearing all events as soon as they show up, and save scum those that cost a day.
jack1974Mar 04, 2018
Yes while I wanted to allow the MC to have "some fun" (this is the first game I made where you can actually sleep with more than 1 person and still get the final ending!) I didn't want to go too far (lol romancing all of them shouldn't be possible even if honestly I never tried!). I don't know if I need to add this explanation somewhere in the game ,or leave the "pleasure of discovery" to the players?
grey_duckMar 04, 2018
I ran some checks.
If I do the Sylrissa romance and either don't talk to Nuala or wait until after the "Drunk Sylrissa" event to talk to her, I get locked into the Sylrissa romance.
If I romance both of them and choose Sylrissa in the jealousy scenes I get the Sylrissa path.
If I romance Sylrissa and go to Grimoire with Nuala but choose "do something else" in the bread scene, I get locked into the Nuala romance anyway. It doesn't even trigger any jealousy scenes.
I'm sending you the save file in question so you can take a look yourself, if you want

Thanks for the save, will do some tests

Hey there! Just registered to let you know that I'm in love with this game (and your games in general) :D But there's a strange bug I have that wasn't reported by anyone, so I thought I'll let you know.
I'm now at day 70, and I still haven't received any quests from the council since the beginning of the 3rd moon, just was running solving the party members' personal quests. And on the day 70 the scene is automatically triggered, when a vote takes place, and my MC says something like "By the way, I noticed that neither Geraldine or Cedric are here. That's a bit surprising", which means I should have met these characters before, though I didn't.
I think that either this scene is triggered earlier than it has to OR I somehow didn't get the quests to meet Geraldine and Cedric (is it even possibe to somehow skip the main plot quest?)
Anyway, if I do something wrong, please enlighten me :D
jack1974Mar 04, 2018
OK I think I know the problem. The first 2 behaviours are correct. The third was the problem: the jealousy scene shouldn't even trigger (since you didn't sleep with Nuala picking that choice) and you shouldn't be locked into Nuala. I found out that I had another variable (properly named sex_char ) which would keep track with who you slept with, and indeed Nuala was missing from that list. Now using your save I tested and works as it should!

Uhm that's interesting yes it seems you skipped the main storyline, though not sure how. Are you playing in VN Mode? Do you have a save you can send me? (if possible even more saves, I'd like to see "the path" you picked in practice!). Thanks
edit:
Looking at the code, you should have been forced to go talk to Apolimesho, and he would unlock the possibility to travel to Lothark/Horus (before that scene both locations are inaccessible). So I guess the question is now if you can travel to those places? if you can't, it seems that somehow you skipped that part earlier in the game (act1) and that's the issue.

I'm playing a full-gameplay mode, not a VN mode, and I just sent some saves to you, please check your e-mail inbox!
jack1974Mar 04, 2018
Thanks, you sent them to [email protected] right? (Haven't received them yet but maybe needs more time).

I could travel to Horus and Lothark all right even before act3, so don't think that's an issue behind the bug

Yes, sent them there. The delay might be since I've got a russian e-mail (not sure though), but if you don't receive the message at all, I can upload the saves to a file exchange service and post the link here, if it's not forbidden or use some other method.
jack1974Mar 04, 2018
If you could travel there before, it's better, it means the bug is only in act3 and it's easier to fix
