Some little news:
- while there's still some time before the actual writing on this game starts (we want to do it "well", since people had to wait for so long!), we are considering using another artist to either redo the CG (keeping the existing ones as bonus), or add more character/CGs. Using the "old artist" is not possible (I even asked her a while ago, but basically said was too busy). By using another one we could have stuff like two CGs each romance, for the romance "variants" like in Amber, Roger Steel, etc (Dominant/submissive or other "dualism") which would be cool I think. FOR NOW THIS IS JUST AN IDEA THOUGH!
- I got Dennis started with some weapon icons
I don't want to go overboard, not like the randomized items of SOTW
however I want to have more variety this time. I think I'll still design each item individually since it's easier to balance. But anyway those are just ideas for now. An example of a new pistol icon:

OK that's all for now. I think maybe next year during Summer there could be more juicy news!

I know you may not like this, but this is still representative of the actual real life relationship breakdown. I doubt that more than 33% of relationships are gay/lesbian.

...and yet, still better than the 0 choices in 99% of mainstream gaming. But hey, moving on is your decision to make.

As jack1974 mentioned we are considering getting another artist to do CGs. If we do that, I definitely want to increase the number of gay/lesbian romances, but everything is still up in the air.

In this case, the disparity is mainly due that this game originally started back in 2011 (shortly after I finished the first one). Back them was more unusual for me, all recent games have more or less same amount instead.
As Miakoda said we're considering what to do, though I definitely don't want to repeat the mistake I did with PSCD, adding too much content to the game.

Not sure if it's too late to ask about this, but w/ the sniper rifle(?) @ top-left and the pistol(?) @ top-right:
Any chance of the the stock (backmost part of a gun) being used for stealth missions or something like that?
The hook-like nature on each seems to me like it could be used to disarm/neutralize an enemy in a silent manner, as opposed to bringing enemies' attention to the wielder from the loud noise of a shot being fired.

Well if it was "rewarded" I would have no problems.
Then you see on Steam games for $9.99 that are maybe 1 hour long, with 98% positive comment. While people are nitpicking on my games (like a famous SOTW reviews where someone playing for 42h in the end left a negative review).
Sadly the market rewards the opposite of what I'm doing - cheap, silly, short games.

I do need to go and review a lot of games, maybe I will make that my goal for the Christmas break this year. I think I have only ever left one review. I know that one company you are probably referring to is Dharker Studios which put out fapping material for teenage boys, because there is basically no story or nuance to their games, but lots of cute anime girls.

Not referring to anyone in particular, but there are many using that "strategy", like Sakura series and others. I can't blame them of course. Just trying to explain that while I keep doing this, it hasn't been particularly rewarding for me

Ha I know what kind of games you refer to. I made the mistake of buying once one, luckily since it was so short, I was able to ask a Steam refund (I beat the game in 1h and I'm not even native English speaker!).
Since then I am only buying games like your or of some other companies like Hanako or sakevisual, at least I get my money's Worth.

It seems that even the most dumbest people are starting to understand. I won't make the name of one of the latest "cash grab" boob game with zero story or plot or ANYTHING but a few nice pictures, that you can find anyway on internet. Some reviews say:
I can't in good conscience recommend this game. It has no pathways whatsoever, a linear and cliché dialogue and about 10 different backgrounds. You are essentially paying £1.70 for a overdone story. There is zero replayability to be had.
5-7 min game - is trolling? The game is certainly cheap, but this is not an excuse for such a time.
In fact, in the screenshots, you saw all the graphics, or rather the whole game.
I do not recommend to buy and I will make a refund.
if even those teenagers who don't know about porn sites are starting to "get it", maybe there's still hope for humanity!

so, don't you think that Rebecca would look much more realistic wearing a tiny tank top and shorts if she's doing workout??? I think she would!
I just asked the artist and she is OK with it, I'm going to ask another one to edit all the romance CG adding nudity (a bit like what happened with Roommates) plus some new outfits for all characters. I have a couple in mind who can do edits that are as good as the original (they already did in Cursed Lands for example and nobody noticed
