No no, she isn't having second thoughts, but it still remains a fact that there are a lot of romances. Maybe "too many" is not the right word, but more like the game is going to be MUCH bigger than the first (at least in the romance interest field).

Yes I agree that from straight male perspective the one you mention are the most interesting I think Elenor / Jul might be my favorite ever in the sequel, but time will tell.

Favourite character was easily Loren by a long way and I love her to bits and she made a lot of impact for me as I am not sure if other posters are aware but sexism was a big issue in the gaming industry last year. The argument is there are barely any strong female characters in games and I think Loren is a very strong character as she does what she can and truly has the most development of all the characters. I also loved how she had moments of doubt as her world view changed and wasn’t afraid to rely on others when she needed help it allowed the players of the game to interact with her more easily as a character. If I had more power in the gaming industry I would actually suggest Loren as a text book example of how a strong female lead should be.

In my games I always try to put strong female characters (of course NOT all of them, otherwise would be a bit unrealistic). Fun thing is that because of the risquè art the game was labeled as sexist by some people (who of course didn't even play it for 30 seconds and only judged from screenshots).

Also on a final note I hope you don't over extent yourselves with the 24 planned romances in the sequel, I am not doubting your capabilities of course its just it will be damn hard having to do that many to the same level of quality of the romances in this game. Anyway thank you so much for the game and keep up the superb work.

Well remember that 24 includes both parts, the sequel will be divided into two parts first one will have 16, the second 8. Also for bisex romances many scenes can be reused luckily!

I didn't have the patience to play through all of the romances starting from a new game every time, but in some ways I wish I had - I love how little extra scenes change depending on who you're romancing.

My thoughts as a bi female:



I have played through several times now (the expansion is amazing, btw, almost like having a whole new game!), and I have explored several different romance options, but my two standout favourites are:



Elenor & Karin: I just adore Karin, quite frankly. She is so wounded and at the same time so strong, I find her irresistible. Her avatar is absolutely beautiful, and the cut scene once Elenor makes her choice is really lovely. I honestly found it very difficult to choose any other path for Elenor!



Sarin & Draco: I had no particular bias going in as to whether Sarin would end up with a boy or a girl, but I found the interactions between these two characters both sweet and funny. They are really adorable together!



I have tried other combinations--I liked Elenor/Rei, and I went pretty far with Saren/Myrth, but I didn't get the same emotional kick out of it. Mesphit was an interesting option, but I knew it wouldn't end well so I avoided it. Amukiki held no interest for me at all, and neither did Chambara. I would have enjoyed a Saren/Rei option, or Elenor/Dora.



Here is the strange thing: At no time did I ever consider getting Elenor or Saren involved with Loren. I didn't hate the character, but she was much too young & emotionally immature for me to consider her a romantic option. I'm probably much older than your usual player, so that might have been part of it. But the privileged ice queen thing just doesn't do it for me.
