Is Alex supposed to be joshua\lisa's dad? Or are they no longer related to John Nelson? And wasnt their dad a scientist on Mars?

Could you tell us about their skill, the leadership and the sharpshooter?

Re: Character intros
The names can give some hints already (sharpshooter increase range of fire of nearby turrets, leadership all nearby towers do more base damage). But keep in mind this could change later.

Re: Character intros
I read Samuel's intro and I really like his character (so my initial impression of him was correct, at least so far, lol)
Anyway, why would this: "If he could be said to have a flaw, Samuel really prefers wide open spaces to civilization," be considered as a flaw? I dunt get it. I'd call it a trait, preference, or something of the like...a trait that quite a few people would actually appreciate.
