Good Free Playthrough-Recording Programs?

Post by BobTheMob »

I want to do playthroughs to upload to YouTube but don't know of any good programs.

Could anyone tell me of any (preferably free) things that can be used to record gameplay?

I like bandicam. There's a free demo version. The full version is $39 (US).

Disclaimer: I am not associated with Bandicam in any way, other than being a purchaser and user of the program.
Why? I like big ones, that's why.

I know it's for streaming but OBS has a screen record function. There's also Fraps which is free too and that's purely for recording. Both are completely free with no watermark crap like (The free Bandicam).

I use FRAPS for my videos but I bought them (years ago) so not sure about the difference from free to paid. But it captures it well. A thing to remember is that it's better to have an SSD HD to capture video at decent framerate (even for my games probably it's not an issue ).

Well if you have a NVida gpu you can run shadow play, no water marks and easy to use ^_^.
