It's... finally... out... Rance VI English translation!! WOOOO!!!
Ok, ok, explanation. Rance is the longest running eroge game series in the world (first game released in 1989, latest game currently in development), which also happens to have become some of the best RPGs and strategy games to come out of Japan over the years. Rance himself is a horrible anti-hero, a selfish rapist scumbag porn protagonist who conquers the world with his "Hyper Weapon" (SJWs can stop reading here), yes indeed, a true misogynist macho relic of a bygone time. If you can't see this as comedy, you might possibly be offended, what do I know?
The Rance series reinvents itself over and over, and Rance VI is a first person dungeon crawler with party based battles that look like something Winter Wolves might have made (huh). I've played through the game in its original Japanese twice, understanding maybe 0.05% of what the heck was going on. NOW I CAN PLAY THE GAME IN ENGRISH!!! AND SO CAN YOU!!!!
It even comes with the mega peculiar, almost indescribable Rance 5D game as a bonus. (Roulette wheel dungeon crawler? For reals??)
Find out more here. (NSFW)
Rance VII (Sengoku Rance) was already unofficially translated, and it's one of the foremost strategy games with a story ever made. Older Rance games also have translations, but gameplay might be a bit too archaic by today's standards.
