Loren: The Sequel

Post by biscuit »

I understand if you don't share because it's business-related, but when you pay the artists, is it per CG, as a bundle for the game (based on if they've worked with you and know what to expect), a percentage of the sales...?

I'm a little curious, especially now that I (once again) learn about all the hard work that goes behind the scenes with the games!

Would throwing money at the screen help? :D

Varies case by case, though I never offered a percentage because is a pain for me for bureaucratic/accountancy stuff. Also I would offer it only for someone very reliable and that I can reach by person

How is it a pain, when you already have to do the accounting for your taxes? If you need to total your sales anyway, it's not hard to calculate percentages afterward...

Is a pain because of the local laws. You have no idea how bad it is here. Anyway splitting this topic since is way off topic
