I'm always amazed by the quality of music on your games, where do you find music ? and how are you sure about the licencing issues ?
I have looked into the site http://www.copyrightfreemusic.org that was very helpful regarding licencing, but now i'd really like to find a music site that's easy to use with fair prices.
Do you have any recommandations ?
Thanks !
Where do you find the great music for your games ?

Hello.
You asked about a music site that's easy to use and has fair pricing. I get music for my games from http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/faq.html
Since the games I make are free, the only licensing requirement is that the game includes a statement crediting Kevin Macleod for the music.

But mostly -- if not all --of the music and sounds in Youtube are licensed and such, except if mentioned otherwise. =\ It is really best that you surf sites that you know how their terms work. You can end up on bad situations if you don't follow copyright terms and royalties and such.Gerulo wrote:You can always go to youtube and check out the sounds you need.
I use soundtracks from Rengoku Teien, Jamendo, Newgrounds, DOVA-SYNDROME and several other sites, if free's what you want (I don't know their terms for commercial projects though). For paid songs there's Neosounds. Best music sites for me, not mentioning their high quality
