What exactly is "Reputation" in this game, Jack?

Does it allow for discounts on products when purchasing from others? Do people of greater affluence and status, like nobles, become more likely to do business w/ Amber?

Maybe even...I know it's a long shot, but it'd be cool to see :) ...those who are against Amber solely due to her being a Dark Elf come to recognize that her race doesn't automatically make her evil?

Some combo of the aforementioned?

It will have some influence on gameplay and allow unlocking certain recipe books :) Maybe something else, I still don't know it myself!

ROFL, I am tempted to keep this pop-up message (displayed when you discover a new recipe through the main plot) as it is...
(You need to have played FF15 to understand fully!)

Today finished playtesting Lair's path. Before I declare the game story fully scripted, I still have to test the "breakup scenes" and Manuel's mini-route (he's not a romance option but has a small side-story).
Of course then there's still the gameplay part to code/test. Sigh this turned out to be another SMALL GAME (tm)!!!

Lool I am "slightly" burned out: I already playtested the breakup scenes last week! So there's only the Manuel mini-route. That is a sort of side-story so completely optional. I can start the beta even if that is not ready, though I'd like to have it done :)
So... I need to resume coding this afternoon!

Eh, I just posted a blog about it: blog/2017/03/ambers-update/
Honestly I hoped to have the game in beta by now, but I clearly underestimated the amount of work (even if I was warning everyone a few months ago that there was still a good amount of stuff left).
Anyways since the main story is done, I hope to have the beta for end of month. But depends on various things, including real-life issues (of course everything must break my balls at once!).

while I'm waiting for Anima to code a better task system than mine, I've resumed working on the shopbuilder screen. Aiming to finish it today. I've split the living quarters into two areas, Bedroom and Kitchen, each one with separate upgrades :)
