  B. carnivorous fish, mollusks, or other marine lifeforms if by any chance the party has to make their way through water
  C. a parrot or any noisy creature that will alert guards

II. Mutants being results of experiments gone horribly wrong.

• A. disfigured humans who have been driven insane
  B. unnatural animal,human, and/or plant hybrids

III. Humans/Humanoids

• A. doctors/medics who can heal guards
  B. competing criminals
  C. loyal servants who can either call guards or fight back
  C. pet handler who can fight with and support a non-humanoid creature

IV. Automatons in a home of an engineer/mechanic or a wealthy person who can afford them.
